Only 10 weeks till we fly out to the sun for a week :-) I really can't wait!

I'm not sure what to do about Emilys stuff. She will need jars, nappies etc obviously. Has anyone heard of those companies that deliver straight to the hotels? I don't know much about it. Also, water? Can I give her bottled water?

not sure about the delivery thing, but id think the bottled water would be ok! :D how exciting! i wanna go on holiday!

I've heard of those delivery things but I think they're very expensive. I know you're not supposed to give bottled water as it has a high sodium intake but there's one (I think it's Evian) has a very low sodium level so I'd buy that one if I were you. Where are you going hun? If you're going to spain this is a good link

Is she bf or ff? If she's ff this is also helpful

Sorry, if i'm not allowed to link, i'm not sure if I am or not so feel free to remove if it's not allowed! x

Madison was 8 months when we went abroad, I brought.....

one packet of ella's kitchen per day (lighter than jars)
snacks she likes etc

and i bought bottled water over there and also bought yogurts and fruit over there.....

i did sterilise her bottles by just putting boiling water in them for 3 mins BUT tbh if I was doing it again I prob wouldn't bother lol....

she had a ball and sun didnt bother her altho i tried not to have her in direct sunlight too much :) enjoy it !! with all the undivided attention she got she learnt LOADS!! eg clapping kissing waving crawling :) was amazing!!

oooooh another thing what i done was in her juice cup i just bought pure juice and put ice cubes in it , so kept it cool and also diluted it a bit so she wasn't getting too much :) xxx

Thanks! We are off to Greece. I had heard that about bottled water, which is why I was unsure! X

Matty was 10 months wen we went abroad-I didn't take a lot of food,I used to mash up some from the restaurant wen possible cos we were half board. He was only on 1 bottle a day then so I took ready made cartons in my suitcase, plus a few jars incase no solid food suitable at mealtime-I bought a few jars out there aswel (couldn't buy milk).
To sterilise I took some Milton and sterilised bottles in the bathroom sink xx

Thanks Lisa, that helps alot. What did you do at night? Just let Madison fall asleep in pushchair? I was saying to rob, I think when we go out for the night I'm just going to put her in her pyjamas so she can fall asleep and when we go back to the room she just needs to be put in her cot x
