Anyone up for a challenge?

Mason's (and now Brody's) new room is almost ready. OH has plastered and painted it, now we need skirting and laminate flooring etc.

It's gonna be red and white, with "car / top gear" themed stuff in it.
I REALLY need help finding decent RED bedding with cars on, not Cars the movie though, he likes it but he's not keen and TBH neither am I, ideally we'd like bedding like this: but it's £60!!!

There's another nice red hot wheels one, but I need to find more so he can choose.... he likes "proper" cars, like Audi's and BMWs more than he like formula one. Anyone up for helping me look around?

BTW, Mason is MAD on Audi's, he talks about them EVERYDAY and we have to go and visit the Audi shop up the road to look at the R8
Today at a bootsale I bought this for £2 for his bedroom wall!.... he absolutely LOVES it LOL

SO if anyone has any ideas what we could do to his room to make it look like a top gear/ car bedroom I need your help!

Iv E-bay'd... now googling... I see why you are asking for help...

Fingers Crossed theres something suitable out there. BTW, he has great taste the R8 is an awsome car.

OMFG! check it out!

way too much money though!

OK, I know its out of your price range but Holy crap    http://www.srbworld.com/Item/boys-bedspread.aspx

And the cover to go with it http://www.srbworld.com/Item/boys-bedspread.aspx

And this is very cool http://www.srbworld.com/Item/childrens- ... -kids.aspx

And what I found for under £60 were these

http://www.linenstore.co.uk/cotton-kids ... -4597.html

http://www.linenstore.co.uk/boys-bedroo ... ding-1223/ Some stuff on sale so £40! (not just bedlinen but wall murals etc there)

F1 bedding http://www.linenstore.co.uk/boys-bedroo ... ding-1267/

And you said Audi... they don't make bedlinen but I did find this...

If you download this PDF and open it and scroll down to about page 15 or so there are some childrens things. Also further down stuff like mugs, caps, flags (ideal for bedroom walls) and a bath towel

If I dig up any more I'll let you know :)

O if you want to order anything from that PDF contact your local Audi dealer and ask prices etc. Can order via them :)

Wow sherlock some cool ideas there... teh PDF made me look on ebay for flags, and I have made an offer on this one

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0270993104

Red and white ;)

Its cool cos Mason has a high bed with a slide to get down, it has blue curtains underneath now, but if I get an audi flag I can make that into a curtain so it can turn it into and Audi bed

You could get some audi iron on logos and buy some plain bedding?

My little man is car mad but as you said the bedding is way too much so hes having to live with a plain one!

 Hummm its quite hard to find everything comes up with the disney Carz thing. The only other thing I would do is to get some car material and make it? Or buy plain red covers and stitch a car design on it like the bonnet and wheels like the above stuff it would look good and be lots cheaper but it depends if your into stitching and things.

There this from Amazon but Im not sure if its sporty enough,

could you not get some plain bedding and go to a local printer and ask them to print some car logos or pictures onto it?

urchin i think its about time yoiu dug out that sewing machine :D it will cost you much less than anything you will buy and you can make it exactly what you and the boys want. buy some iron on double sided interfacing and iron on the material patches so they are straight then sew around. you could even just get plain red bedding and iron on flags..xxxx good luck :D cant wait for ideas and pics

try great little trading company.....they have a car set not sure if it will match your colour scheme though, i tried to post a link but it didn't work lol
