so embarrassing :wall:

I had been fine taking Brooke to school up untill i got to the shops. I felt a little faint outside so sat down on a bench for 5 mins, was a little sick  but then felt fine. I bumped into my friend who lives next door, then we went into the super market, there was a big que (only 2 tills on grrr) and i was stood at the till got right near the front and my legs went like jelly and my body all weak. If i hadn't sat down at that minute i would have passed out. Luckily my friend came to the rescue and paid for my shopping for me while i sat down. Everyone was looking it was horrible, the lady on the cheakout must have thought i was crazy or something :rotfl: My friend said the colour just drained from me.

Anyway i managed to get myself together and took a slow walk home. Been feeling very crappy all day but not had anymore dizzy spells. It happens quite often but never as bad as it was today.

This happened to me all the time in 2nd and 3rd Tri and always in supermarkets... perhaps it's the being on your feet all the time and the bright lights? Who knows? Anyway with me it was bouts of low blood pressure and my iron being borderline... try SpaTone sachets to up your iron the natural way perhaps?

Poor you, it happened to me in a Chinese restaurant and everyone thought I was just drunk so I didn't get any sympathy at all!! :)

Take it as easy as you can hun x

Aww no that happened to me in work the other day because i was standing up too long, i had to sit down on the floor by the printer

Take care of yourself hun

I never thought of it being my iron levels, i have my 28 week bloods on the 23rd and they test iron levels then so ill soon know if it is. It also happens to me in shops most of the time :wall:

tnx girls

Try carrying some sweets or something small to munch on when shopping. Then when you are feeling light headed you can get some quick energy to try and pick you up.

This happened to me when I was meeting OH's Auntie for first time ever... was chatting away to her bout something then just walked out of the room and went and sat next to the toilet without saying anything (I thought if I opened my mouth I might be sick :puke: ). Bet she thought I was a right loon

I agree that carrying sweets might help and maybe a bottle of water as well.

I find it happens to me alot when i go into shops, my OH thinks it might be because its cold outside and so warm in the shops

Hope you are feeling better now.

I think the moral of the story is shop online?

Oh no Kelly you poor thing!!!! Lucky your neighbour was there to help you, that was good of her.

I hope you feel better soon, think its definately worth mentioning it to your midwife when you next see her

yea my niegbour was great bless her. Luckily she knows how bad i suffer with sickness and stuff as she was pregnant when i was with Olivia. She is great bless her.

Im not due at the midwife untill 30wks as im at the hosp for the GTT at 28wks but im going to go and see her on friday i think as i have been having a lot of pain in my pubic and groin area for about 3 weeks now but its getting worse in the evening and at night so will mention it then.

I feel like such a failiure when it comes to pregnancy. It does seems to be one thing after another, with Olivia it was chronic sickness all the way through and this time its sickness, dizzyspells and pains. I constantly look and feel like a bag of crap. Why cant i have a healthy pregnancy and bloom or glow like most women. I look and feel about 10yrs older than i am. Im suprised DH hasnt packed his bags and left for a better model :rotfl:

Anyway moan over lol

Hey hun! There is no perfect way to sail through pregnancy. I think your body is changing so much but that is not indicative that you are a failure! It just means your body is changing. You need to rest up as much as you can and acknowledge that it's okay to feel not great.
