I have been feeling really sick but havent actually thrown up. (I have quite a strong stomach and it takes a lot to make me sick)

Does feeling sick count as morning sickness?

Sounds like a stupid question I know!

but everyone keeps saying that morning sickness means a stronger pregnancy!

No thats not true atall, 2 years ago I had a miscarriage but didn't know until my 12 week scan, the baby had died early and wasn't visible on an u/s scan but I was still having nausea up until I had it all removed. Most women suffer nausea only and not actual sickness, myself included. It is counted as morning sickness. I would prefer to actualy be sick rather than feel sick alll day long..it's horrible! I hope it passes soon for you :)

feeling sick counts as m/s and is a very good sign. research shows that those who have m/s were less likely to m/c.

i would take it as a positive sign i am feeling sick all day and night it does not feel good but i feel rest assured its a good sign

i have been like this too, feeling queasy but not actually sick, apart from one day where i think i had a bug. mine is passing a bit now but i still have the odd day, hope it goes 4 u soon.

I have mainly just felt sick but have been sick a couplt of times with this pg, which I agree with the others feeling sick is worse than being sick, although from my experience actually vomiting only stopped the nausea for a short time and then it was back with a vengence :(

However, when I was pg with DS, I didn't have any sickness or nausea and had a really easy pg all the way through me and baby were very healthy.

I wouldn't worry that you haven't actually been sick though, hope this helps

I've been feeling sick on and off throughout the day so far, but not actually vomited.
With james I was sick several times every day for weeks

im finding when i feel queasy i dont think i want to eat anything, but if i do have something to eat i usually feel better and realise i was hungry.

same if i go to bed without eating i wake up queasy but im ok if i ate late

my doc said thats rubish...some women handle hormones differently and thats why they may not have morning sickness. i myself have only had slight nausea and no throwing up(i NEVER through up anyways,i have the strongest stomach i swear...LOL) but lack of morning sickness does not mean you are more likely to m/c

i had m/s more so with my first baby, different smells would make me feel worse, but i found that eating dry biscuits would help and eating little and often

I've been woken up with nausea already this morning and i'm only 4 weeks!!! :wall:

The sickness has definately kicked in with me now. I was sick this morning, now I feel hungry although I still feel sick!

I'm starting to get a bit queasy today, looks like this is the start of it :wall:

i was queasy all yesterday, dont feel like i'll be sick , it just feels like carsick or something, not very pleasant but hey ho

I'm glad you said that - I'm (I think - I'm new to all this) 5 - 6 weeks pregnant and I haven't been sick at all or even feeling sick and it is worrying me

i was worried too...some womens bodies handle things like progesterone differently

Apart from the occasional random tiredness I feel as healthy as a horse!! It's certainly not due to any lack of hormone though because I had 2 blood tests done last week and my hormone levels are normal and progressing as they should be.

I've always had heavy periods but never been effected as badly as many women so I think it's just my body is good at tolerating hormonal changes. I'd be really interested to know if there's a connection between how people's body's dealt with mentsruation and MS.

A little bit of info which has really helped me today (please do check with your doctor/MW though):

Last night I just couldn't stop being sick, everything I ate I brought up, I had that really queasy feeling in my stomach...I just felt pants! I have also just been signed off by the doctor for a week.

Anyway, today I have only eaten really bland foods, chicken soup (not cream of) some rich teas biscuits to snack on and later I'm going to try some dry toast with tomatoes...as recommended by someone who said that it helped her. Oh and sipping water regulary, very important.

I can't believe it, the queasiness and sickness has just disappeared, even if it does come back again it's so nice to have a break from it :D

I glad others are feeling like this i have felt rough since i woke up :puke: . The worst part is im at work where my boss does not know im pregnant and im having to pretend im fine no sudden movements. I hope it passes soon.

I hear ya girls, however, it seems to have passed the last couple of days thank god! I have not been sick at all but feeling nauseus after every meal and just not fancying any food at all.

Hope you are all feeling better today.
