will i need one? just read in 3rd tri that i can claim one for a fiver with a coupon from my bounty pack (which i've just applied for online) but will i actually use it? Our bin is immediately outside our front door so its not as if i'd even the baby would be out of sight at all for me to just chuck it into the main bin.

Just wondering if its worth bothering with or not? and does it just wrap them and then you put it in the bin or does it collect them as well?

Thanks :) xx

We were lent one and didn't like it at all. Is easier just to use nappy sacks imo.

You can get a totally free one from Argos with your Bounty voucher once you have your baby. We use ours all the time :D

we bought one from boots as we didnt know about the vouchers in the bounty packs

we have one that uses bags no casettes so is cheaper to run

we put the nappies in scented nappy bags and then into the nappy stacker, we use it all the time as we live in a flat, not sure we would if the bin was right outside

We have and i use it all the time as i live in a flat although i brought mine but it wrps the nappy and keeps it in the bin till the bin is full then you empty the bin depending how many nappies you get through id say once every 3/4 days. keeps the smell at bay too.

We bought one but the refills are so expensive compared to nappy sacks I don't bother with them. The bin itself is useful though as ds can't open the lid so no smelly bin raids! I'd recommend buying the bin but using it with nappy sacks rather than the refills.

Nope they've changed it apparently and you get a voucher to get one for £5 from Argos instead

I didn't claim mine - free from argos in April. Its not something I would use but we use cloth so pointless for us :D

I got a tommee tippee one for free from freecycle i just had to buy the refil which was £4 from morrissons and the refils last a month, i am also going to collect my one for £5 for upstairs and the refils for that one is £10.99 for a pack of 3 which again lasts a month each so i dont think there expensive.

We got ours free in the bounty packs and to be honest i really didnt think we would use one so never brought before the birth but i use it every day! to me its a godsend.

as Bee says you now have to pay £5 for it

why havnt i got this bounty pack? i got one very early on containing a nappy, a sample of sudacrem and a few vouchers but nothing with anything about a nappy wrapper? apparently theres a voucher that i hand in at boots or asda, i have a little form which i fill in all my details and then says to post in the bounty post box but this is all i've got???? is this the one i can give to boots as well?

Thanks xx

You get it in hospital after you've had the baby.

Total waste of money IMO. I have periods where we use disposables regularly and I can't see how it's any more use than putting a nappy in a bag and putting it in the bin. Especially since you have to do all sorts of knots and things, I thought it did it automatically

I got my "free" one and stuck it on freecycle. At least someone who thought they were useful got it

Well I was going to go get my £5 one yesterday but couldnt and now Im unsure whether to bother! I was just thinking sticking the nappy in a bag and getting OH to put it outside is surely just as easy!?

We got the free one, but used it til the sack ran out, and don't anymore.
