nappies

Cloth ones  i wish i had used them from the begining.

I prefered Pampers new baby then active fit

Pamper new baby for newborns and pampers active fit or baby dry when they start to wriggle a bit! Huggies leak on Damien all the time

Your best bet hev is to get a pack of each and see what you like when babs comes,i have always loved huggies and hated pampers cause they always leaked but others have experienced it the other way round :? . I am just getting a couple of packs of newborn huggies and see how i get on :D xx

see ive got a pack of newborn huggies and im going to get pampers but i was just wondering what you all found best?

also do you know anywhere you can get boxes of nappies?

ands how many changes a week would you say you do?

i dont think it really matters with newborns as they dont wee and leak though loads. as long as they are comfy so ild say pampers baby dry. when they are older nothing beats active fit all i dont like about cloth nappies they are bulky and baby to sweat alot and i imagin them to get smelly where as pampers cover up the wee smell

I used to change D before every feed out of habit when he was newborn so maybe 6-8 times a day?

You can get boxes of nappies from Tesco's, Costco (if you have a card) and I think Asda. Might only be Active fit and baby dry though at Tesco + Asda. Think Tesco do boxes of huggies too?? Not sure though coz I only buy Pampers.

Haved a look in a big Tesco's babes, they tend to do offers on nappies alot too :D

I've just been buying nappies and toiletries and things when i've been in doing my monthly shop when they;ve had good deals on, to save me running around enarer the time having to buy it all, i'd rather just stock up when i have time!

i used pampers (yellow pack) wen B was a newborn now i use pampers baby dry flex totally love them lol

I used baby dry then went on to active fit for the stretchy sides...THEN people here told me baby dry now have stretchy sides (and are cheaper) so I've gone back to them :D

I hate huggies though

yep baby dry have that new catterpillar flex thing now. I will be using cloth nappies, but for hospital im taking in huggies new born nappies.

Cloth :cheer: Wish I used them from the beginning :D Can't wait to see this little baby with a big comfy cloth bum :D

We use the Bambino Mio nappies mainly but do use disposable ones if we go out (just so I don't have a stinky nappy in the changing bag) and we use them at night time too as they soak up the wee alot better than cloth ones so he doesn't wake up.

We've tried them all and have found Boots own to be the best by far. They have never leaked where all the others have.
I have got some of those new Pampers stetchy ones but haven'ts used them yet.

I love my cloth nappies, would never change :D If you are interested in cloth there is a sticky at the top of this forum, come and join us

For convenience ours has always been pampers. They worked well with our two eldest and our youngest is now in them now. For those who want to join pampers club or huggies they offer savings on signing up. You get vouchers through the post. There are also clubs for baby food off heinz which you also get free vouchers. Anybody aware of any more??

lHere's the links to the ones above if interested. They are at the bottom.
