Nappies?

Not sure where to post this but silly question coming from first time Mum...!!

I always thought Pampers was a good make but did some reading up and people are saying the new baby range have changed design and leak...anyone had this happen to them...any other suggestions of makes to use??

I wanted to stock up when on offer but if they are pants(!) I dont want to waste my money!!

Any advice appreciated

Absolutely avoid Pampers Active Fit, they leak everywhere! Before the new design that is! I dislike pampers anyway if I'm honest, the tags break off when you have a wriggly baby really easy and I don't find the sizing correct on my son (obviously every baby is different)

I use Huggies, I've never had a leak with them unless my son has undone the tag lol I change him every 4-5 hours now and he goes in one about 12 hours at night and he could still go another 2 hours in the morning if I let him, I just use the regular Huggies x

Like vix said every baby is different so what works for us might not work for you, but i like the new baby pampers but now as my babies aren't babies i find it a nightmare to find the right one meghan is still in a nappy at night but i need to change her before i go to bed cos she is so wet! Same with logan i don't like any of the pampers for them or the huggies as they have made them longer and don't fit right so i use tesco own. But when this baby comes i'm using reusables but might buy some pampers new born just in case. x

Im a first time mum as well, so can't give advice on which is better. But Ive just used all my vouchers ect to get a mixture of pampers and huggies. Don't think I actually paid full price for a pack lol. And Im just going to try out both and see which works best for baby

Im more than willing to try other brands, but you only get vouchers for pampers and huggies!! lol x

I use morrisons own at the moment! I thinkbtheyre made by huggies cos they're really similar! I don't like tescos ones cos they don't seem to fit my two very well! I used tescos newborn ones tho and they were completely different!

I have just got a selection using my vouchers, have got different sizes of pampers and huggies NB ones and sainsbury's own...
am then heading into reusables so am hoping they suit us easily... it is a mine field of what sort to get isn't it!!

i brought loads of pampers new baby in the old boxes so i new i was gettin the old nappies only to open a pack and find a letter saying they were the new ones :O i wasnt happy, so iv brought loads of asda little stars to see how i get on with those x

i have been using tesco newborn which are fab much better than pampers or huggies newborn imo. They are 3packs of 24 for £5 at the mo too. X
