my boyf and i are not in the least bit religious, but we want to give our baby a 'naming ceremony', an alternative to a christening where both sides of our family get together (they still havent met, after six-and-a-half years!) and make our siblings "godparents", and officially acknowledge our babys arrival. but we dont really kno what our options are and how to go about arranging one. i'd like to do it b4 the end of september while its still warm with light evenings, so i guess we should start finding out a bit about it. anyone kno anything about these? thanx!
(i think i'll post this in 'ask a mum' too.)

I am interested in doing this too..... please let us have an update once you've decided on what you're doing I would be grateful for the info too. Good luck and I hope you have a wonderful day. x
