Ok so neither me or OH are particularly religious so we've ruled out christening Phoebe as we've both agreed she can decide upon it herself when she's older.

But I was just wondering about naming ceremonies, is anyone else considering doing one? And does anyone actually know what happens at a naming ceremony?

Me and hubby are also looking at doing this too. Neither of us are religious but his family is. So will be keeping an eye on this thread.x

I would love one as Im not religious at all...but oh is catholic, but never goes.church or anything...however he is determined to christen Charlie catholic (can they do that if I'm not catholic?) And he wanted to take him church every Sunday but I said no, but he still wants to.christen him so he gets into the catholic schools which are better standards here iykwim? Still at loggerheads though, he got annoyed when I suggested naming ceremony x

Ahh no I'm so glad me and OH share the same religious views.

Thats some really good info thanks Pos!

I'm not 100% but I think these days the fact that your not catholic is ok but they'd expect him to be raised as catholic, therefore attending chapel.
