we're going for charlie michael or susan elsa
everyone tries to be polite but i can tell they hate it...
but i like them. and... they just feel right.
surnames are harder... i'm not with my partner really... but, urgh it's complicated. can't decide whether to give him his way with the surnames. probably not.

my ds 2 is called charlie :D

we have our boys name, it wont be to everyones taste but we love it so thats all that matters :D

we have 3 possible girls names but not stuck on one yet, my mum doesnt like one of them which kind of upsets me but im not too fussed as its our choice and she has said the same, i think we will keep the 3 names and see what she looks like if she is a she lol

i can honestly hand on heart say that i have not dis liked any of the names on this thread they are all lovely xx

Ive had a few comments along the lines of that's a strange name
but on the whole eveyone has said they love it as its different but not weired and its a name that has a very deep meaning to me, and this makes it the perfect name for my child.
I'm tributing my Grandad a man who i love with all my heart and im sure my Son will grow up being proud to be named after such a wonderful man that was his great Grandad
(oh god now ive gone all emotional)

So all you girls you pick the name you want and stuff anyone else
its your child and the name you chose is presonal to you and will suit your child perfectly:hug:
noone else has the right to comment

I wonder if it's a common thing in England to give three names (one is already hard to find I think!) :? Because very often when I say we have chosen Louis Nathan people ask me about the other middle name... well, one first name and a middle name seems enough to me :D

Me and OH would only agreee on James. I wanted to call him Silas but OH went mental  I love the name James so when I suggested it and OH said he liked that we decided then to save anymore rows :)

He will officially be James Michael Bernie McManus - Michael and Bernie our both our Daddys names. What he actually gets called though is an entirely different matter.....furry biff / Nemo / Battus are some of the names he has had from the past few months...poor child :rotfl:

Other people dissing name choices bugs me. My mum still isn't happy with our choice but as I keep reminding her IT'S NOT HER BABY!!!

We've chosen Faith Lily and I reckon i'll call her FiFi or Fi for short (as i love to shorten names).

Baby Bee awww fi fi is soo cute i love to shorten names too :) Thanks for the comments on Cooper i must admit i do love it and so does OH. People do seem to have alot to say  I'm not going to have a middle name i've not got one so not given it any thought really, as for the surname me and OH have had our problems split up for a month or so at new year so decided then LO will have my surname and even tho now we are now sort of back together.. taking every day as it comes.. i'm still sticking with that. If he wants his son to have his surname then he can marry me!!.. lol that will never happen! :)

Clare, Tallulah is lovely and love Tally for short xx

Our name is Aimee Elizabeth Summer Hillary. Hillary is her last name incase you think we are giving her 4 names! lol Our boy name was going to be Matthew William Joseph Hillary.

We've just not told people our name choices so no one gets a chance to ixnay them. I prefer not knowing peoples name choices or the sex if I can help it also. I like the surprise

Once baby arrives and you announce the chosen name people have a much harder time saying if they don't like it as its actually a done deal. But for some reason before a baby is born people seem to think its still open to critisise.

 sherlock do YOU know the sex? I thought you were team green!

I sort of wish we'd waited and had a suprise but I don't think it really matters now- it'll be even more of a suprise if I have a boy! :rotfl:
