Melanie is after my sister that passed away, George is after OH's step-dad who passed away.

I think they're beautiful names and it's so nice of you to remember your loved ones this way. I called my first baby Tara Jennifer, Jennifer after my sister who died before I was born but who has always been such a big part of my life...

I was six when my 12 year old sister died so she played a good part in my little tiny years and I want my ickle one to know of her fondly too. My brother's daughter is called Angel Melanie and I don't think it matters they'll both have the same middle names...

Finlay has my uncles middle name. He died a few years ago. I like middle names that have meaning
