Yay! I was hoping the postie would bring me a pressie today, and he did :cheer: :cheer:

Have had a play and although it took me absolutely ages I found babies heartbeat! :D I found the placenta easily but had a real job finding baby and everytime I found him he moved! His heartbeat sounds like a train (though I know he could still be a she!)
Heart lots of swishing too which I imagine is baby moving about in the amniotic fluid?

It's great, I can see me playing with this a lot :D
I feel a lot better cos it's the first time I've had proof that baby is ok in there since the 10 week scan.
Are there any guidelines about how long I should use it for and how often?

Congrats Its great isnt it :) I didnt buy one till recently as I didn't want to risk getting a panic head on with all the early stage probs of not finding heartbeat, but I've been able to hear all the kicks and even hiccups at my stage so your going to have lots of fun hun! xx

What sort did you get?

I ordered an Angel Sounds which should arrive next week (i hope). Any advice on how to find heartbeat and how low the baby is at 15/16 weeks?

Im sure you will have lots of fun. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I've got an angel sounds too!

It took me quite a while to find the heartbeat, I scanned along my bikini line and found the placenta on the right hand side. Eventually found the baby low down also on the right hand side. I think baby was moving around cos I kept losing it.

I'm wondering if maybe my placenta's at the front cos I can hear it across a big area from the right hand side right across to my belly button. I had to try and move away from the placenta in order to hear babys choo choo train heartbeat.
I'm sure you'll have a fab time with yours too :D I think I#m gonna have to stock up with 9 volt batteries

You must be so happy, I know I was when i found it, my guidelines say to use it for about 10 mins a day.

Mine sounds like a train too x x

Yay! :cheer:

I have an anterior placenta and it took the midwife that long to find the heartbeat last time, I have been reluctant to use a doppler because I would have myself in a panic I think

Well done you for finding it though

oh wow hun you must be so chuffed
id like one but its on the wish list at the moment
manda xx
