Hi girls , for about a week my dog became clingy he would come and lay down on my belly when ever I would play fight with my partner he would run up barking and he would check on me , I am about 7DPO, can dogs scent pregnancy before BFT? Please help

I do believe that animals can sense when a woman is pregnant or when someone is sick. I'm sure you have read about scientists using dogs to sniff out cancer or even alert a patient of a pending asthma attack before it occurs. Animals have a keen sense of smell and can detect hormonal changes pretty quickly.

FX that your furchild is right!!! :dust:

My cat was super clingy when I didn't even know I was pregnant yet. He was attached like super glue! I remember telling the oh saying the cat was being sooo annoyingly clingy and he said that the cat might sense a pregnancy. A day or 2 after it was confirmed! So yes I do think animals can detect pregnancy!x

I do believe animals can detect pregnancy. My dog was the opposite and he avoided me; he's got better now but he just seemed really annoyed at me for a while. I don't think he realised I was pregnant (not convinced he's realised it yet either) but he obviously noticed a difference in me and didn't know how to take it.

Good luck; it sounds positive from your dogs reaction.

My dog didn’t let me be for the whole 9 months. Followed me everywhere and waited for me outside the bathroom lol

My friend's dog was clingy and always sleeping with her when she was expecting so yes I beluevd that they can!
