my dad went blind last nite

thankfully he got his sight back now. but i was very scared when my mum told me this morning- apparently they went to A&E after he went completely blind (he saw purple tho, not black) and by the time they arrived he could see again, but had pins and needles. they took ecg's etc and he gotta go back for tests but they think its a mini-stroke. his dad and his dad's dad both died aged about 43 (my dad is a ripe old 58) his family suffer from predisposition to heart attacks and strokes

i burst into tears when i got off the fone and so did melissa! we are both at my parents' now i drove straight round to see him. millie always cheers him up. he feels just fine, but its just frightening hearing stuff like that.

If its any help, I know someone who goes blind before she gets a migraine, thats all it is for her
she also sometimes only sees in black and white before one too!

how scary I have had a few dizy spells where my sight and hearing have gone is soo scary especially the first time it happened by doctor blamed it on migranes even though didnt have headache at time you can get migranes without the headache!

aww bless you all, thats pretty scary... I know I pass out alot and my hearing normally goes first and then my sight and its pretty scary stuff like...
