Well - after my wife came back as a possible Alpha Thalassaemia carrier, I had my blood test last week to see if I was a carrier too.
Just found out I am all clear - soooooooooooooooooooooooooo relieved.
Also had Downs results - 1 in 3900 so again such good news. I know it is not hereditary, but my wife had an older sister who had downs and died very young, so was a big thing for us.
Onwards and upwards towards a happy pregnancy!
