He's wearing 'newborn' size trousers for the first time today

they do come up to his chest but i still consider it a milestone. I cant believe some babies are born this size!!

haha i know, she started fittng into her newborn stuff at about 4/5 weeks and i remember thinking how huuuuuge they all looked before when she was born! x

Paige is growing out of newborn things, but only because her legs are so blooming long! Every other pieces of newborn clothes are far too big, shes swimming, but her legs! Shes just got these long skinny legs. Might cut all the feet off the newborn sleep suits

Early baby. Im surprised by how many babies have to be put in early baby things. I had to go buy vests and sleepsuits for her as she was mini like tinys little boy.

Its strange cos Charlie was 7lb 3oz and really long, especially his legs, but all newborn stuff swamped him so he ended up in early baby clothes for the first 3-4 weeks which I never expected. Am going to pack couple of early and newborn sleepsuite/vests for the hospital this time just in case.

Yeah Annabelle had to be in all early baby or tiny baby clothes! she weighed 7lb13 so newborn must be quite big, well for the bigger born babies i guess

Morgan was 6lb4 born. he was 9 days overdue and we had to buy 'early baby' size clothes! talk about rubbing it in!!

Bless him, there are so many milestones and all babes are different! My bubs is 5 weeks and in 3-6 month dresses - had to put newborn stuff away 2 weeks ago and nearly cried!

Cahal was straight into newborn stuff but is now wearing 0-3 months mostly although I've found it seems to depend on where the clothes are from - he outgrew h&m stuff first, tesco 0-3 sleepsuits now fit him just right but anything from Next just swamps him, although the rate he's growing I don't suppose it will be long before they're too small as well!

Paige was weighed on tuesday and was 8lb 15oz Apparently shes dropping below the 25 centile though..silly HVs and their centiles.
