my babys not pooing!!

hes not pood for 12 hours he does have a wee in the nappy but there is no poo is this normal??
hes 4 weeks old tmos think hes got tummy ache although we hear him trying to squeeze one out but he hasnt done one
whats happening?

i would pop him in a warm bath and try rubbing his tummy whilst hes in there.. or getting a jug and pouring the warm water on his tummy.. that always worked with my two

some babys dont poo for up to 10 days at a time.. although they are breastfed.. which my two were so im not really sure about bottlefed. ring your HV if youre worried hun xx

yeah i was gonna say a warm bath and rubbing of the tummy and then lie him on the floor on a towel or changing mat with no nappy on ... always worked with madison maybe a bit of extra water too xx

haha when my dad says to madison "you wanna play on ur bike?" it means nappies coming off and shes going on the floor... he goes mental at me for using nappy creams lol he reckons if babies are wet all the time just let the air at them loads like 3/4 times a day for an hour at a time to dry properly :s lol hes a nut xx

dont do what i done!!! connor hadnt poo'd in three days n i took him in the bath WITH me.... massive explosion and it was all in my hair and everything at least he got it out msl:

i thought id leave it a few more hours but the rancid smell from his nappy is minging lol.

My youngest used to go 3 days without a poo! It scared me at first but the mw said it's different with every baby! She has no problems pooing now tho! I was giving her no nappy time earlier and she weed so I asumed that was everything out so I decided to give her her tea with no nappy on... I ended up with poop all over the bouncer *voms*
