So yeah, after a couple of minutes of being in the bath, my (12 week old on Friday) baby's hands turn blue! I know babies can have poor circulation which comes right in a few weeks but he's almost 3 month old. I'll be taking him to the doctors asap with the pictures but I've terrified myself now. :(

What temperature was the water in the bath? Was it on the cool side?

My daughter used to have blue hands and feet at random until around 6 months. Used to freak me out xx

It’s not uncommon, their circulatory systems are still immature at that stage x

Baby's hand ad feet can get like that sometimes. I am sure you are already making sure that bathroom and water are nice and warm for her. Maybe try submerging her in water rather than having her sit above it? This should keep her body nice and cosy. Just a thought x

I have been unhappy with the fact the bath seat doesn't allow baby to be submerged. So perhaps he is just getting cold? The bathroom is warm heating on full & the water is warm enough without being hot. Never experienced this with my daughter but then we bathed her in a baby bath where she was submerged.

X

Just fill the bath up more and baby will be submerged. I have the same seat for DD and ignore the line on the seat and fill so that she submerged.
