Lo is 10 weeks old. From about 4 weeks I started expressing and every few days or once a week, i'd give her my milk from a bottle, just so that she got used to it as eventually il need to get back to work and plus when im out and about. She took to the bottle straight away just fine. She would guzzle it down, no problems.

Well the other night, i had my first ever evening out without her, and left her with mum. LO did not take the bottle at all, she just cried then fell asleep till i got home, then cried again till i gave her boob.

We tried again later that night, and again today and she just wont take the bottle anymore.

Really didnt want this difficulty. How will i go out without her, or what do i do eventually when i return to work? - She really needs to be used to the bottle too.

What do i do?

If you find out how to get around this, please let me know. My lo is now 10 months and I cannot get him to take a bottle at all.
He'll have water or baby juice from arrows up cup during the day while I'm at work but refuses milk from anything other than the boob. Now he's has started biting too.
Good luck, I hope you can work it out

Oh no! I had the exact same thing ur going through with my first. She went straight from boob to beaker, but refused to take milk other than booby milk. So at 13 months, i stopped breast feeding and she never really took milk again. Was hoping id got it right this time by introducing bottle at 4 weeks, but looks like im in the same boat again.

Any suggestions appreciated xx
