I think as long as its not more that 2cm different to your gestation then its normal. So for you between 20cm and 24cm is fine. The fundus height is usually about the same measurement as the number of weeks along you are. That's what I read in my information form the midwife. hope this helps. xxx
I didn't get measured till i was 32weeks and i was measuring 38 by bump and uterus then, had a growth scan at 28weeks baby was 3lbs 4oz and 33weeks baby was 5lbs 9oz so hes a big baby x
well i wouldnt say your having a big baby because your 2cms bigger cos thats supposed to be normal.
you dont really know unless your having a growth scan but i thought i would have a bigger baby cos my last one was x
Mine have all been around the 8 -8 1/2 lbs so that is the norm for me. If it's your first pregnancy then they have nothing to gage it to so they use the 'average measurements' to which I show up as big I wouldn't worry too much at this stage and if you were a larger weight than average when born yourself it really shouldn't cause any problems at all. All the best xx
Thanks I was 8lb4oz when i was born and OH was 8lb 6oz. My sister had a 9lb4oz and a 10lb1oz so im just going by that tbh...but i do understand that everyone is different xxx
Chances are with family history especially your mother having you at 8.4 lbs it is more likely that you will be able to give birth perfectly normally to a 8- 81/2 lb-er so I really wouldn't worry at all ,good luck xx
