He was a guest drummer on one of their tracks, but not actually in the band. When I saw them live I was quite disapointed he didnt make an appearance But he is the vocalist in Foo Fighters now - a very funny man I saw them live too and he has so much charisma and stage precense, he rocks 8)

They're all connected, Foo Fighters and QOTSA and Tenacious D are all buddies and had thier videos directed by the same guy, who was that geek who done that "Whatever" song, remember that one? lol
