mum and dad drawing big

this is a pic of my mother and father in law . . . took me three hrs because of the size but im not very happy with the turn out i said i would post it tho so here it is . .

pic i drew you can see how big it is as im holding it . . . i made mums hair longer coz it is longer now and the pic was an old one but im not very happy with the pic what do you think??

i dont like mothers eyes or chin and i dont like father hair on his gottie should have took lonbger with it but not doing it again now haha

first I scrolled down and didnt see the bit about using it as inspiration and thought you were trying to pretend you had drawn the photo! lol! I was like OMG she's amazing! But seriously the actual drawing is really good, it looks like them.x

no not drawn the photo haha!! if given enough time and with proper paints i could achive something near that but it would take me at least two days plus and i havent got the patience for that anymore haha!! x

lol! yer exacally give me two days lol!! i got some great paintings at my mums . . shall see if i can get some snaps of them for you next time i got up there and there from 2 days to 3 weeks working on each one x x

you must be very patient!! Ive only ever done one oil painting on canvas and was workin gon it for weeks cos you can still move the oil paints. It was drying near teh TV so everyevening I would see alittle bit which needs touching up and would go for it!

i have to do mine in a quiet room lol the tv would be no good for me i have to be so quiet when i concentrate otherwise if i was listening to music ect you can garentee i would get carried away and make a mistake i have a sieve for a brain lol loose concentration on something even if it is right in front of me haha

gave the pic to mother and father today and they really liked it yay!!!! all my worrying about mother and they said that father didnt look right haha!! they want me to do another one better they are putting that one up in their bedroom so yay!!! and i was worried they would tear it up hehe!!! x x x x x x
