yeah it went well she took bloods, weight, height, BP etc etc checked my urine everything fine... gave me loads to read and talked me throu my paper work.... shes sending my details to the hospital and told me they would send me my scan appointment through the post...... she was lovely but I knew her anyway, that's why I dont wanna change Dr's
Im glad all went well with her its nice when you know/have the same MW. Ive got mine on tuesday at 2.30pm and im really looking forwards to it!! Oh dear your not having to change Dr's are you ?
Yeah im going to have to even tho I dont wanna.... im still with my Dr's back up home which is 40 miles away... ive been at the same dr's since I was little and dont wanna change to one down here! proper gutted about it but dont know a way around it! I wanna stay with what I know cause of my body and that changing id like to know one thing was going to stay the same and that would be my Dr's and midwife
I'm the same as you, we moved here 9/10 months ago and I was still with my old doctors as I didn't want to change, but I did eventually, but the new docs are saying I haven't grrr
I am still with my doctor that i have known for years, but she no longer deals with pregnancies. The surgery has a registered midwife now and that is who i will be seeing. I am gutted too.
I mean i know i can still see my Dr for non pregnancy related things, but i am gonna miss sharing this pregnancy with her as she was there for me when i was pregnant with Kieran.
I think its just cause my body is changing and everything is different that I just want something to stay the same... does that make sense? I prob sound like a right spoilt brat eh!
There is so much going on inside your body when you are pregnant, it makes sense to want someone who knows you and can reassure you that everything is ok.
