Mr Babybee speaking - faith is here!!!

[Suzie and Faith]

Its matt. Suzie's (babybee) OH.

Just thought i'd post so you know that everyone is healthy.
Just got home from hosp. Maternity ward was quite busy so suzie has a room to herself (+ faith) tonight in the delivery suite.

brief rundown of events is that suzie was in pain and exhausted from contractions so i rang delivery suite. mw was round at about 7. Suzie now 5cm dilated. suzie was coping just so decided to wait an hour to see what might happen at home, then decide wether hosp might be best. LOs heart rate dipped from 140 to 100 after each contraction so called the ambulance in. 7.45 ambulance arrives. then at the hosp (now at 8cm) baby not wanting to play so consent form at the ready for c section. one last go with the forceps. lots of gas and air and a good few tugs 'n' pushes later. out pops faith at 8.50.

Suzies perfectly happy. all went well in the long run. and we now have a clean spare paddling pool for summer

sorry its short and brief. now off to bed and up in morn to head back to wife and daughter.
