Hi ladies im 37 weeks and have a really active baby. However today he has been SO active its really incredibly painful. I haven't been able to do anything all day and actually been screaming with the pain. Its all in my sides and high up. Is this normal? ? I'm actually worried at how painful this is getting. Is it just going to get worse?

I had a day like that a couple of weeks ago, not enough to make me scream but it was really really bloody painful but then he chilled out again and not been too bad since. At this point (39 weeks) it is the headbutting of the cervix that is hurting now :/ x

Thanks hun! He must be strong my daughter was never like this! Cant wait for headbutting cervix ouch!

Hopefully they dont get any more painful but in the last few weeks they do tend to be very sore as baby is running out of space. 4 days before giving birth i had an extremely over active baby. The movements i got had me screaming and in tears. I ended up ringing the mw cause i was worried but all turned out to be absolutely fine xx

I can see how it gets like that towards the end. I'm 31 weeks and I have had some very uncomfortable moments in the past couple of days with limbs sticking out. Nearly there lovely. X

God at 34w its bad enough
Lol
I Dont want them to be stronger and sorer
I already don't like it!

I had the same thing around 31 weeks and it did pass eventually but when i spoke to my midwife about it she said i might just have a sensitive uterus but i do think its worth mentioning to your MW just to make sure. Just dont stress about it hun x
