My whole mouth is sore! Inside my lips and under my tongue. I've googled it and it can be another one of those pregnancy things, down to hormones and being run down. It suggests salt water rinses, but I'm sure I'll throw up

Anyone else suffering?

We do have a new toothpaste  it's aquafresh, but I was using a mini Colgate in hospital and it was exactly the same? I can't remember what brand we had before it ran out, but it's usually one of those two.

I'm on a second course of antibiotics at the moment and wondering if they're not helping? I'm battling thrush as a result too

I had it a while back and a decent mouthwash cleared it up x

If you're run down then you can get them. I usually get the a lot but with both pregnancies I've never had any?!

Corsadol or whatever it's called mouthwash is good but no sure if it's suitable while pregnant. It tastes of nail polish remover as well!

If you can stand cloves they're meant to be good, I can't stand them though!

There's also meant to be something in tea that helps with them, some anti oxidant or something.

Also not sure if you can use it while pregnant but anbesol teething gel is amazing for the pain. Much better than bonjela!

Corsoldal is fine during pregnancy, so I've just picked some up. Hope it helps as it feels like they are starting to spread down my throat :(

Omg that stuff is evil! my whole mouth is tingling/ stinging! It had better work lol

Told you it was disgusting!!

Are you sure it's ulcers with having them in your throat? That sounds like hand foot and mouth to me. Has your LO been poorly at all?

I've had loads of ulcers and coldsores this pregnancy

Corsodyl mouthwash is good
Its antiseptic x

That's interesting Littlemonkey, I'm going to have a Google. My LO currently has conjuctivitis

It's not ulcers in the conventional sense, I have rough sore patches all around inside my mouth. I took some paracetamol yesterday as my glands felt large too.

Made the mistake of eating an orange after lunch- ouch! I kept going because I really fancied it :x
