Mothers Day

Hey all

Wondering what u all got planned for mothers day???

My 5 year old is taking me for a day out he said.. He like me cant keep a secret so looks like im spending Sunday swimming then for lunch

hiya, well iv got to go visiting oh's mum who lives 28 miles away then come back and see my mum so my day consists of travel sickness and a tired oh and litle boy!!!

Having my Mum over for Afternoon Tea

Gonna bake a cake and do some sandwiches and pretend I'm sophisticated x

oh minx thats not so good for u lol.... guess it has to be done im going out wi my mum the sat afternoon for a bit so i dnt need to do the whole visiting bit..

Thats nice Jenny ive been eating cake a lot recently lol i wish i could bake x

off out with my hubby and Josie... also my brother sister and their partners, dad and step-mum for a nice sunday pub lunch. We've also got a big family wedding on saturday and josie is a bridesmaid.

...and also remembering my own lovely mum who sadly passed away aged 36 from cervical cancer..

And on a nice positive note to end ... this will be my 5th Mothers Day as a mum to Josie who has only just turned 4 but was born on mothers day 2007 so i got an extra one at the beginning! On the labour ward i got a bouquet of flowers and a baby hamper as she was the first girl born on mothers day at 23am, 18th March 2007!

I've got my tour round the labour ward and midwife birthing unit at 3pm and then I'm going to see my mum after that.

Other than that, this is going to be the shittest Mothers Day ever as I lost my mam recently AND my hubby, brother and Dad are going to Benidorm and I'm staying at home on my own AND will have to entertain my irritating self-indulgent Nana. AND I can't have any chocolate!

We're going to the York Railway Museum for the day with some friends & their children & then going to ASK restaurant for our tea!
Going to my mum & dads for tea on Saturday too!

well i need to do a stock take lol so me and hubby will be doing that first, then we will pop by to see his mum and then off to my parents house to cook a nice sunday lunch

my mums at work so i wont be able to see here as there's no public transport that will get me there before she goes to work!!! and OH said i'm not actually a mummy so don't expect anything . . . i did tell him they do mum-to-be cards but he said no after i brought him a card from our cat last year

OH is taking my little brother to the pics in the morning and me and mum are going for a hot chocolate somewhere then we are going to my Grans for lunch, then got our 4D scan at 3pm

so last night i was about to go to bed and OH surprised me with a card and a little present he said i had to open them as i wouldnt get a chance before he went to work in the morning! so all this time he was just playing with me . . . pain in the bum!!!

Happy Mothers day ladies, to those expecting and those who have children I've had a book and chocolates from the bump, had a nice relaxing bath and will visit my nan later with my mom. Me and Oh was talking about mothers day's in the future and we said we would go out for the day on every mothers day places like safari park and family days out (lets see if it pulls off haha) x Hope your all having a great day! x
