i went to a mother and baby group today i was really nervous of meeting new people etc but i had a really nice time! everyone loved madi lol. she was the smallest baby there hehe

oh and i got her weighed today and shes now 4lb 13!!!! WOOHOO!

She's sooo tiny. Everybody forgets how small their babies once were but I bet there aren't any at your group that had a baby as iccle as Madi.

i love mother and baby group too. i look forward to it all week eery weds afternoon. iv tryed a few but the one i go to now is fab its 90mins
half way through all children sit down and ate fruite and mums have a cuppa T its hard work with 2 though Harley just plays on the mat alone half the time as im to busy holding Diors hand shes a chicken

glad you liked it Hev, keep going its so nice seeing all the other babies grow and helping each other at the same stages weaning ect.

I take Sophie and Alastair to 3 a week its great and i know Sophie really enjoys playing with the other kids

I love my mother and baby stuff too, but I have a girl to go with that i met at anti natal classes. Still I was nervous to met up with her when I first had Ellis. Now we go out every week. Normally shopping

Sarah you should go again and start a conversation with someone. Its hard f you go to these groups all the time to see who's new and who's not. I'm sure no-one ignored you on purpose.

At my group I always try to talk to new people, but it can get so busy some weeks I have to ask people if they have been before or not

Walk up to someone and ask how old their baby is...that's the best way to start

ive started taking finlay to 2 by me, i still get nervous and shy but have made a couple of friends and everyone is very friendly. babys make a good talking point though so least im never stuck for something to say

I haven't been to mine for 2 months since I went back to work but now I'm part time I'm able to go again. I went yesterday and felt really nervous even though I used to go all the time. I really didn't enjoy myself as I felt I had nothing in common with anyone else there, and also felt a little pushed out as they had all become really 'cliquey' since I last went. Rubie was tired and grumpy and I felt uncomfortable so we left early. I doubt I will bother going again....
