I'm breastfeeding so i expect to feed often. But recently Angel winges for food so i put her to the breast and she cries, sucks for a second and strains her body. This goes on for a good few minutes til i give up and send her to sleep. She really kicks up a fuss but it's only in the evening and it's only been the past few days.
It's just getting me down and frustrated. I'm trying my hardest but feel i'm not doing a good enough job.
Any suggestions?

Sorry, didn't spot that. New here so still looking round.
I just thought maybe i wasn't producing enough to satisfy her needs or something. Coz i end up giving up and she'll start sucking her fist again, which is her way of telling me she's hungry.
I just end up getting myself upset over it.

Welcome to the forum, everyone is so friendly here.

Dont get upset hun, she will get over it. I know its easier said than done, i was fretting over what could be wrong.
What i ended up doing was when she came off and started to scream/cry and arch her back etc i would put her over the shoulder like you would to burp and calm her down and try again.
Making sure she was reasonably calm when latching on worked better for me than trying to get her back on whilst she was screaming

Some babies do get really fussy in the evenings and cluster feed. My DD did and it was exhausting and frustrating!

It does get better though, honest :)
