I love every bit about my baby growing up and learning new things everyday. I bought him a bouncer today and he loves it!

But i'm really down that hes growing up so quick, where did my newborn go? I wish i could freeze every memory so i can go back and have each bit again.

Anyone else felt like this and why is it. Is it just hormones settling down and how long till it passes?

Ah hun

Dont have my newborn yet but totally see ur point! My friend's baby is growing up so fast ,makes me want to take each step real slow and not take a thing for granted

aww yeh it's normal to feel like that.
Just a few moments ago I was looking through Lydia's old baby photos and comparing them to pics taken of her yesterday, and started feeling really teary!
I love the little girl that she is becoming. I'm so proud of her and every achievement she makes. I love that she is becoming her own little independent person.
But at the same time it's too fast, and I want her to stay my little baby forever!
Ahh the things we go through as parents.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean but it does get better and better.

In a way I miss my newborn but I love the fesity, funny little girl my baby is becoming, she is so much fun and gives so much to me :D

i used to really miss the baby stage where they fell asleep on you and the tiny cries now i do and i dont I get so much enjoyment out of each moment the laughter he gives me, the cvheekiness of him i cant believe some of the things he is doing and i just think when did you learn that? he finds things funny now and that is the most wonderfull thing in the world when he laughs it means he is developing a sense of humour, just so many things, yes i miss my wee little baby but adore the little boy he is becoming ... all teary now

lol you got tiny cries? Lydia has always been as loud as a foghorn, right from day 1 haha!

I agree with alfiesmummy....its amazing how quickly they learn things and now that our babies are growing up they are aquiring their own little personalities and laughing at things...i love it, Ashlea makes me laugh and smile so much every day....I enjoy every minute of every day with my girls...Haylea was 10 the other day and I can't believe where the time has gone, she's so grown up...its crazy how quickly they do grown up and they become little people..oh now i'm getting all sentimental and emotional.... :)

It's so normal to feel like that, I really miss the little newborn Emma used to be, but I also love who she is now and the amazing person she is becoming. Every milestone is so exciting, but I wish time would pass a lot slower. Cherish every second
