Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone can give me any information about this. I am wondering how likely it is that you could miscarry? I am 30, a non smoker not hugely overweight and am just wondering how likely it could be that I could miscarry. I know nobody can give me a definitive answer but generally speaking, do most pregnancies go full term or is is quite possible?

Also is there anything you can do to increase your chances of getting to 12 weeks?

Apologies if this is a sensitive subject, I was just hoping to get some advice.

Aww hun dont do this to yourself. You should be thinking positively not negatively. Looking at the statistics wont change the outcome anyway. You're fit and healthy so you should assume you will be fine. Once you've seen a heartbeat on your scan the odd of you delivering a healthy are over 95%.

Dont spoil this special time for yourself. Enjoy it and get excited! :D

Thanks so much, I have just know so many people who have had miscarriages I was anticipating it to be almost a 50/50 thing. I think I'll take your advice and just try to chill out about it and enjoy :)

Thanks again. x

Ok well here's a way to look at it. If you know lots of people who have had MCs, as sad as that is, then the chances of you having one are reduced ;) I have been pregnant 3 times and not had a MC. My mum has been pregnant twice and has 2 live babies. I know MC is more common than we think BUT never having a MC is very common too.

I agree with Mervs Mum, and having a healthy baby is more common than having a miscarriage so relax and enjoy it as much as you can

Awww hun I'm sure you'll be fine
