I have some mince defrosting for tea, but I'm sick of the same old things, bolognaise, chilli or lasagne. Has anyone got any ideas of what I can make?

You could try this... (Boston Baked bean hotpot)

Fry and drain fat off the mince.

Fry an onion until soft, then add the mince in.

Add;

1 large tin of chopped tomatoes
sprinkle of italian dried herbs
2 tbps tomato puree
2 tbps of BBQ sauce (best) or ketchup (if you don't have BBQ)
1 large tin of baked beans
1 stock cube
half a pint of water
110g of pasta shapes

Let it all simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring regularly.

Very tasty and has minimum washing up carnage!

how about mousaka, burritos or beef patties?

mince beef tacos...

Put some spice in your mince
Taco shells
Pitta bread
Salad chopped in separate bowls
Salsa
grated cheese

My fave !!!! :D

MMMMMMMMMMM I'm hungry
No idea's what to make though, mince does get boring after chilli and spag bol for a whike.

lasagne or chilli nachos!
cover doritos with chilli (thats been made) cover with cheese all over then stick in oven until cheese has melted and slightly browned then serve with cold soured cream and guac, yummy yummy!

Thanks so much everyone!! I ended up going into town and got back at 4pm so had very little time to cook something before Rubie's tea time, so I ended up doing spag bol

BUT

I have noted all of your suggestions (that bean thingy sounds great) and I will be a bit more experimental next time (I have mince all the time lol, it's so easy)
