Milk blister

I think I have one and it's really sore, not sure if I should go to the doctors but trying home treatment first which is the same as mastitis really. Anyone else had one? did it clear up on it's own?

It's really painful now pinky can't bear clothes rubbing against my nipple. I'd never heard of them before either so googled it! It's basically a blocked duct because the skin has grown over but instead on it being deeper it's visible at the end of your nipple like a little white blister. I've been following the advice on this site http://kellymom.com/bf/concerns/mother/nipplebleb/ but it's just so sore now I think I'll need to see the doctor. Strangely feeding isn't as unbearable as you would expect, it's sore but I can manage through gritted teeth!

Oh I think I had one! I read pop it with a pin and get baby to feed on it. I took a few attempts but it did go!

Ouch! I'm a bit squeamish! It's really painful to feel now, sitting here doing breathing exercises!

Oww that sounds sore! Been to doc who got me to see the mw who was there and its blocked so got to just feed on that side for 24 hours and express the other and see the Bf advisor on Friday
