Midwife !!!

This is getting ridiculous, i've tried for two weeks to get an appointment with my midwife on the day she said (monday 13th) and got told when I phoned the clinic that she wasnt even at there that day, so i've been trying to get a hold of her still on the number i've got for her, i've left 4 messages on the answer phone to get her to call me back and I still havent heard anything. Not sure what to do ??

Should have seen her on monday, I would be 31 weeks and 2 days then.

Do you have a general number for the community midwives team? The docs should be able to give this to you if not... you need an appointment hun, and for her to not get back to you after leaving one message let alone 4 is really, imagine if you needed her for something more urgent?! Hope you get hold of someone soon

It's the community midwife number for her area she has given me, it's the only number I have apart from the maternity unit for emergencies. I think it's ridiculous that she hasnt got back to me and i'm actually very pissed off about it, I think it's terrible but I dont have a house phone and everytime I phone it's using all my credit just to get an answering machine and I cant afford to keep topping my phone up at the moment. When i left the messages, i also left my name and number and the midwife's name who i was looking for and told them why I was phoning but no phone call back !!
