OK, so i found out i was pregnant about 3 weeks ago, went to doc almost 2 weeks ago now (which was a total waste of time, got told nothing apart from he'd arrange a MW appt for me), so here i am 2 weeks on still waiting for an appointment with the MW!

I reckon i'm about 12 weeks as my last period was Feb time, so i should be due if not already had a scan, i am just so desperate to make sure everything is ok and it;s starting to really get to me, wrorrying about silly little things!!

I have nothing! I went to dopctors expecting him to at least tell me my expected due date, all he asked me was when my last period was, he sat writing who knows what and then said he'd organise an appointment with the midwife for me and showed me out the door!

I tried phoning the surgery on Friday to be greeted with an answering machine sayng they wouldn't be opened until Tuesday as they were closed for the bank holiday, it really is getting beyond a joke now!

try not to worry it took a while for my midwife appointment to come through too, i got mine through the post, she will tell you your due date and check the heartbeat and stuff there and will get intouch with the ppl that do the scans. This is what happened with me anyway

that's the thing though Dionne, i haven't even got a contact number for her! That';s why i tried ringing the surgery to try and get in contact with her, but no luck as my previous posts says!!

This is just my luck all over !!

It's a pain in the bloody arse more like it!! Just wait till that surgery opens at 8am tomorrow i'll be straight on the phone!

doctors are getting worse arnt they, they dont supply any reassurance at all for us pregnant ladies!!!

the sooner i even get to speak to the midwife let aloine get my scan and stuff, will put my mind at rest, i'm just a worrier!! *You may have noticed that already!!

ur just like me then, i worry at the smallest things, its not a bad thing though it just shows that you have your babys best intrests at heart and that you love your baby, i know i do

You dont need to worry, the midwife wont be able to tell you anything you dont already know, your E.D.D which you have already worked out, a blood test, a phone number to book a scan and you will start to fill in your notes with her.

Did they give you a pack at the doctors? im surprised they didnt tell you to book your MW app while at the surgery, when i went to docs my doc just gave me a E.D.D and told me to go back to the reception and book an MW appointment and then they gave me the pack at the front.

If i were you i would go tomorrow and ask to book an appointment with the MW...and ask for your pack so you can start filling in the parts the MW will want to see when you go there, address, any illnesses etc.

Shame docs are so un helpfull these days its ridiculous!!!!

Well phoned them first thing this morning and got an appointment for next Wednesday, so why it's taken the doctor 2 weeks to not even bother arranging one for me is, well i just don't bloody know!

Still got another eek to wait and worry though!

Someone slap me please!!

you will be fine, try not to worry, i have got my worrying head on tooo at the moment got my 20week scan in 4 hours, oh how the hours drag
