midwife today / sweep..... UPDATED

UPDATE......



midwife has just been

she couldnt do a sweep as my cervix is so far back so she couldnt reach and believe me she tried

so basically i am resigned to the fact that im gonna be induced

another midwife is coming out saturday to have another go at doing a sweep but she said she doesnt hold out much hope

sooooo its induction monday but she said she will try for sunday as its so far back and ive had no signs she thinks induction could be a long process so they want me in earlier than later

midwife is coming out at lunchtime today to do my sweep and chat about options as im overdue

im so nervous, hope it dont hurt

at least the end is in sight now hun, i know you don't want to be induced, but we have to focus on our little ones, you'll have yours REALLY soon

did you speak to the midwife about your worries over being induced? write in your birth plan that if you are induced - you would like it as natural as possible?

yeh sarafet i told her i was scared of bein induced and y and she said to tell the nurses when i go in and she reassured me that baby would be monitored very closely and that i would have a c section as soon as there was any distress for baby

chickadee1976 the midwife joked that the midwife that comes out saturday may have longer fingers than her

we seem to be in the same position, damn our cervix.

im being induced monday too, she did try for sunday also for me but it was fully booked

least you've got another go on saturday
fingers crossed and lots of sex (bet youre sick of hearing that)

That is what happened with me with my son....But I went into labour 2 days later!

Lie on your back with a pillow folded under your bum....Cough or push like you are gonna poo and get Ken to rummage ....It moves your cervix down a bit.

(I am behaving like one of tezzy's hated types again now )
