midwife next week

next wednesday i have my next midwife appt

ill be almost 17 weeks pregnant then.. will she listen to the heartbeat?

when i went for my first appt, i saw the doppler on a table so i know that she has one, so will she listen or will i have to ask her?

Hi, my midwife used one after the 13 week stage and has done since. If she doesn't I would just ask her to.

I did at my 16 week appointment. She also started to measure my bump too.

I heard heartbeat for the 1st time at that appointment. I have my 25 week midwife appointment in a week's time.

yep mine just said do you want to have a listen to the heartbeat & jumped at the chance. If she doesn't mention it Just ask her if you can, it won't be a problem.

My first appointment with the midwife was yesterday. She checked my blood pressure, took my blood, took a urine sample and listened to the baby's heartbeat. And there was oodles of paperwork to fill out plus loads of bumf to take home and read. The whole session took about half an hour although I was warned in my letter that I should expect an hour.
