midwife appointment today = )

Well i had my midwife appointment today and im glad i did,
from the early hours i ben getting cramping(like period pains)
but only niggling every so often not in any pattern
anyways.. she examined me and said that babys head is as engaged as its going to get til he comes
and that HOPEFULLY this is the early stages now starting,
all day i been having pains, and when i do little moves about,
so im hoping something stronger is going to come of it tonight or tomorrow
so keep your fingers crossed for me

do you think it could be the start???

Hope things are moving for you

My LO has been engaged for a couple of weeks now and have had the period like cramps for about a week with no joy as yet so be prepared that it may not be the start of labour hun

looks like the sames happening to me tbh,
i keep getting the pains but they go no further,
my midwife kinda made me bleeive it i think by saying
"it looks like you wont need your next appointment", but i bet ill have to be stared off

Midwives really get our hopes up sometimes dont they?! Mine said to me 3 weeks ago 'be prepared for her to come any day now, she's right down in your pelvis' but I'm still waiting

eurgh same here
and dont you just get so excited when they say it,
start rushing around getting things done and cleaning and doing the last things
and still no baby
so annoying

hopefully they will be here soon
