Had our 12 week scan today first time me and OH have ever seen the little one, anyone they put me back a day to 11 weeks 6 days, we were in the waiting area waiting for our pics and he started counting on his calendar on his phone and I thought what's he doing, then he turned round to me and said, 'that counts back to 5th July, I was on holiday then' as if to say he wasn't the Dad I was mortified then said to me 'do you think id be here if I didn't think it was mine'. I have never done anything for him to think otherwise and he has turned what is supposed to be one of our best days into me crying in sadness not happiness. I am so angry and I would love to work out the exact date and explain it all but I am too angry at the moment, and I don't know the whole cycle stuff too well. xxx

OMG HUN, hope ur ok. Jesus Christ, men eh!!! Make him suffer and regret that!! Sure one of the lovely ladies will talk u through the cycle stuff but i know that sperm can live inside a woman for days before it reaches the egg, (and the longer it takes the more chance it is going to be a girl. )

Hi Hun don't worry about the change of due date. They put me forward a week!!! I know this is wrong as I was using the clear blue fertility monitor so I know when I ov and when we caught the egg!

Tut, unbelievable! Sometimes they really are on another planet aren't they. Not the best time/place, what a shame that it ruined such a special day I'd definitely make him aware how upset/offended you are by his doubts xxx

What a to**er!! I'd have punched my OH in the nuts if he'd done that to me in the waiting room today!! And the date is worked out on the measurement sizes, not exact shagging times!!! I think the amount of grovelling needed for that one equates to a spa day or something...

Two simple words....... Fuck u!!! Him not u that is! That's what my dh got when a few days after my lo was born and he got pissed and turned round and said she better be mine!! They honestly change dates I had a bleed so was scanned and it put me at 9 weeks 6 days, they had a trainee and asked if she could have a go. She scanned and put me at 9 weeks 4 days. They said it depends how baby is lying. I then had my 12 week scan that showed the trainee was correct and that was 2 days difference. My mw had to change my due date by two days. Make ur bloke do everything for ruining one of the happiest days in early pregnancy as that is a reassurance seeing your baby doing well. Chin up and milk it for everything u want like a big bar of chocolate and a foot rub lol xx

i was put forward a week even though i know for a fact when i conceived.....babies just grow at different rates in the first few weeks which is why the dates always get changed xx

Hi hun, i just read this and all go for the punishment! Just a thought tho - 12 weeks ago was the 5th July, but surely that was when your LMP was to be classed as 12 weeks pregnant? Think ive got this right xx

the scans take into account that you get 2 weeks free and so you actually concieved more like 10 weeks ago which would make it more like the 18th of july. was he home then?
tell him this and make him look dumb for not knowing that.

what a dumb ass!!!! my OH would have got a huge 'fuck right off mate'..... explain to him how its dated from the day of your last period but is impossible that you conceived then - do it in a condescending way and tell him how disgusted you are in what he has said..... then ignore and await his grovels....

Failing that sew a prawn into the hem of his suit jackets and turn up the heating!!!!!
