lol.. its never to early.. id bought all my reusable nappies by 8 weeks :)

Good on you, I havent the guts to use reusable ones  I like to get rid of the smell as fast as possible as my tummy turns

Did you use them on your other little girl? Did you ever find you were stuck for one now and again?

no i didnt on charlotte

but i have 20.. so i dont think i will be stuck.. i will also keep a pack of disposables jsut incase..

charlotte went through about 5 a day.. so even if this one doubles which is doubtfull then i still have some clean and dry for the next day..ive bought all in ones for relatives lol..so im hoping to wash and dry some by the time im half way through the remaining. :) fingers crossed

you are a very brave mummy :rotfl: Its good though that people are getting back into the habit of using them again. I would if i had more patience. To be honest and ashamed im one for an easy life

Hi

Just having a nosey round and thought I'd butt in

Im using reusable nappies too because our bin is only emptied once a fortnight and I cant stand the idea of 2 weeks worth of dirty nappies hanging around :puke:

And also I like to think Im a bit green

don't know about considering myself green but I'm using cotton nappies - packet of disposables on hand though for the odd day trip or what ever. Reason's being that our bins are emptied every 2 weeks and the cats in the street ravish the bins and seem to love the nappies that a house 3 doors up throws out constantly (maybe they can smell the milk/food within the poop?) and it's just disgusting, I can't imagine soiled nappies sitting in my bins for a fortnight. The smell... :puke:

My friend uses terry nappies. I think she is mad but she loves it and doesn't have any problems at all. We will be using disposables though I'm afraid.

We live in a flat so have no garden & no washing line! My OH wants to use them but I don't want them hanging all over the flat! :shakehead:
