Anyone else has used the maxicosy car seats?
My 6 week old boy does not seem to be sitting too comfortably in it. I am using the support pillow and head hugger but still his head seems collapsed on his chin, and his body is not quite siting properly. His bum is raised and generally his position is a bit awkward. I think it may need some additional propping / padding?

Our baby is longer than average for 6 weeks (he's around 55 cm) but also quite lean.

Any tips or photos as to how any of you may have comfortably sat their LOs inside the maxicosy would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you still using foam triangle under where his bum is. We removed ours for this reason.

My 3 week old sits awkwardly in hiss too. I'm thinking of taking the foam out the bottom as he just seems to be perched in it and not very comfortable.

Yup, try taking the foam triangle out, and then you can adjust the height of the head cushion too.

Our LO is really tall and we took the foam out after a few weeks.

Ooh interesting, will try this too - car rides have been hellish recently, we have maxi cosi too :-)

What the other ladies have said - remove the pad (we had to do this after 2 weeks) and then the head support as he was so long for it.
