mattress cover

I just opened the wrapping off my Moses basket as the old house was damp and didn't want it to smell, anyway the matress isn't an expensive one (Moses basket and matress£25 from Asda) should I get a water proof cover for it (does anywhere even make covers for them) im just thinking if LO's nappy leaks or she is sick then the matress will be wet through ?? Any ideas x

I know you can get ones for cots they just cover the bottle half as the top bit of the mattress should have holes in it to make them breathable. I haven't seen them for moses baskets though x x

try mothercare - they sell waterproof mattresses so they might sell waterproof covers as well

Think i'v found one in babies r us does anyone know are all moses baskets the same size??? x

No they aren't all the same size but there are a couple of standard ish sizes. Measure your mattress to check.
