Maternity allowance

I have been assuming I am going to have to work until 30 July to qualify for MA (to get my 26 out of 66 weeks or what ever it is), but that's only because I have no idea how many weeks I worked for an old job in my qualifying period. I was working for the nurse bank and only took shifts when I could and/or needed them. I have called EVERYONE there and no one can or is willing to help me. Is there anything else I can do to find out? I would love to shave some time off the end of my work here if possible.

Would HM Revenue and Customs (tax office) be able to help, as they will have reocrds of all your previous employment.
