When did you request a start date to recieve payments?
I sent mine off in advance to start having it 11 weeks before LO arrived (was the earliest I could claim from). They had a backlog so I never got anything until 7 weeks before LO was due and the first payment was backdated and therefore I had 4 weeks in one go.
Give them a call and see where they are with yours.
I asked for the payments to be made from February 17th, which was the earliest I could claim (probably like you Sherlock as our due dates are the same ) and sent everything in February. But some documents were apparently missing and they sent me everything back! I then had to start everything again and make a new claim (keeping the same date for the payments) which they received on April 1st. I called them last week and they said they had a huge backlog and were still examining claims from February That's why I was starting to get a bit concerned... It will probably be backdated as it was for you but in the meantime I miss the money they owe me
its been 12 weeks since i put my claim in and ive had nothing yet...apart from a few snotty bitches when chasing my claim up...thats when i actually get through
This has made me really panic now! I've been trying to process my claim, but I'm STILL waiting for the SMP1 form from my temp agency to send off with my claim. (Have chased them 7 times in 2 weeks and have just said I should have it by the end of this week)
If I end up in the same boat as you guys, and judging by the backlog I will do, I won't be able to pay my rent without income?!
