Hi

My son is 5 months old and as soon as I first set my eyes on the Luna I was desperate to get one. Thank the lord that before I bought one I took my son to the baby shop and tried him in it. I found he didn't look like he sat in it comfortably at all as the seat doesn't seem to be very deep. My mum was with me and said she thought he looked like he was hanging from it. If he looked like this at 5mths what would he look like in it in a years time. I bought the mamas & papas pulse instead and would highly recommend it!!

Hope this helps :D

thanks for that, i am gutted as its such a nice looking buggy, but obviously this is the only good feature about it!!!
have to keep on looking.
might go to a baby shop near me & put Louie in a few buggies :D

To be honest we looked at them in mamas and papas and it seemed really flimsy. Also no foot board, which when baby gets bigger would be a nightmare!!

I nannied for ten years and used loads of different buggies and prams. I found that as soon as the baby is about six months or so people often buy a lightweight buggy to take away on holiday, or keep in the boot, and never use the bigger one again.

I've got two kids and I'm going for the Maclaren LR travel system. Lovely buggy, umbrella fold, and super cool car seat. It is suitable from birth and will last all the way til baby is four, as it is well suited for larger children. I know it isn't as cute and dynamic as some of the substantial ones, but from my experience of practical use, I'm not going down that route again!

We are on holiday in Cotswolds at moment, and yesterday we went to Broadway. There was a woman in the really cute toy/baby shop with a big buggy, three wheeler, MASSIVE rear wheels, and she was taking halk the shop with her everywhere she went. She barged past me and pushed my bump into the shelf as she went :x She just couldn't get round the shop.

For what it's worth my advice is to go totally practical! I've bought a really mega cute suede buggy snuggle to make my Maclaren super cosy for December.

It looks lovely but compared to others on the market, I think you'd be better off spending your money elsewhere.

I've just bought a lightweight pushchair for my my 14 month old, I bought a Maclaren and it's fantastic. So lightweight, it's got pockets to store your purse/phone snacks etc at the back. We've bought a footmuff for the winter months. You can also order new wheels if you need to in the future, so it should do us for any more children we have.

The Luna doesn't have a foot rest for them and there were a couple of other things that the sales assistant pointed out to us which I didn't like. Can't remember what they are now though but I wasn't impressed with it.
