anybody on here had it ? got it ? heard stuff about it ?

ohkay i've not even got my BFP yet but i can easily say i am in love with this pushchair.

i've seen it around out in local shopping centers a few times but i'd say only 1/2 times in the past 3months so i don't know how popular it is, i've seen a lot more, a lot more frequently out and about however on the Mamas and Papas website if you click on 'Pushchair Best Sellers' it's on there nice and big.
it's not that i'm overly bothered about it being popular or not due to a number of reasons but if it's unpopular because it has problems, like it breaks easily or is quite heavy etc. then obviously i'm going to have to re-think.

i can easily say however, with no major problems this is my pram.
everr since i saw it, it was like 'i have to have it' it just looks perfect and suits me down to a T.

i know lots of people have trouble finding the right pushchair for them, so any comments on the Luna would be great :)

Do you mean it for a newborn or as a buggy? We almost bought the Luna as our buggy (when fed up with the pram being too big). We were also playing with it in the M&P shop a few days ago  It's fantastic to steer, I'm not sure about how it folds up though. What I will say is that if you go for the carrycot part you won't use it long for a bigger baby - I would say it was smaller than the carrycot our pram came with and my daughter who is tall but average weight outgrew it at 12 weeks.

The car seat you can get to make it into a travel system also has mixed reviews, if I remember right from another thread it lets the head of smaller babies flop forward as it's so upright.

So if I had the choice I'd go for it for a second buggy for an older baby but not as a first pram. Hope that helps! I love the colours it comes in - I know LaineyG on here has one so she might be able to help too.

thanks for that :)

i was hoping to get quite abit of use out of it, getting the carry cot with it.. but not the carseat to use with it, i think babies look 100X more comfortable in a roomy carrycot compared to a carseat, they look abit 'compact' and squished in my opinion.

i think the colour is one of the things i have fallen in love with.
also the price, it's really not that expensive; i know you can get a lot cheaper but there's also a lot that are hella lot more expensive.

how long does a first buggy, second buggy usually last ?

i didn't even know i'd need multiple buggies! :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Up to you really, I only got a buggy (I got the M&P Ziko Frankie) because I got a Graco travel system and it was bulky and took up the entire boot of the car. I'm actually looking at another one now but :shhh:

I'd definitely go and get a look at it if you can, have a play. It's a soft carrycot that goes with the Luna and it's very, very small relative to ones you can get for other prams. Basically a little baby wouldn't be able to lie in it spreadeagled, they'd have their arms by their sides. I honestly don't think you'd get that much use of it after about 3-4 months, especially seeing as you have to buy it seperately. I think the Luna has full recline though which is suitable for a smaller baby.

we had it from birth - I absolutely love my Luna.. it lies totally flat and the new version also has a carry cot you can buy seperately. It steers brilliantly and does fold quite small so fits in the boot of most cars. I found it very very sturdy and Holly sleeps like a log in it even now and she still has a fair bit of room

We've just bought a McLaren for a 2nd buggy but I much prefer the Luna.. when we got it hardly anyone had them but they are now very popular, i think its because they are an excellent price and a very good buggy to use. i got the whole travel system but didnt use it much as i wasnt keen on having her in the car seat a lot...

thanks :)

i'm still keen on it and haven't seen anything else i like enough.

although as i haven't got my BFP that might change and i might like something else.. i doubt it but maybe

i have the luna mix (bought it as my second buggy) but i am gunna save it for the next one its fantastic rly easy tof old up, folds small, lied completely flat, comes with all the extras and its light weight. as as mine is a luna mix not a luna i can change the colour of the hood so it luks like a completely different pram. i have bright purple for abigail but if i was to have a boy next i cud change the colour by buyin a new hood and not a full new pram :D x
