make-up life?

make-up i think contains organic material doesnt it? so like food it must "go off" after a certain time?

does ne1 kno how long u can keep stuff b4 u should throw it in the bin?

some things need replacing after few months anyway but other things seem to last ages- dont kno if i should be replacing them b4 they run out?

If you look on them they should have a symbol that tells you how long they last - like a pot with the lid open and it says how many months.

I think things like mascara and eyeliners are about 6 months. not sure about anything else.

I don't wear make up everyday so there's no way I would use the stuff I've got in their 'dates'... and I buy Clinique

Going to start buying cheap stuf now... or mini pots of everything!

oh, yes- so they do! i never noticed

is that from when u first open them or from when u buy them tho? i found a new mascara in my work desk drawer i had left all over my maternity leave (9 months!) unopened still in the sealed card/plasticy thing. it says 6 months on it is it ok that i use it for 6 months now its opened or did it "go off" before i even opened it?

I didn't know about the pot symbol with dates on! I'm going to go look at all my make up now
