Make me go to work!!

I started my new job at McDonalds yesterday!

OMG it's horrible I hated it ... I nearly left on my break lol, then I am seriously considering not going back today!

But I need to! Not necessarily for the money, but because I need a job ... My boyfriend says not to go back if i don't want to ... but I will go insane on my own at home for much longer with nothing to do! I can't let my BF provide for us, is it silly i know ... sort of a pride thing lol!

I'm so frustrated I have a applied for every job out there but can't get any, I'm also registered with two agencies, I have three A Levels ABB so good grades, and I went to University but left in my second year so have a HCE in Ecology - part of the reason why i left because Ecology is a pointless subject lol!

Every job I go for say I don't have enough experience!!! Well I know I did the so called sensible thing and took my education (yes i left and didn't finish my degree i know ), but if I had left school and got a job at 16 i'd be fine because I'd have 5 years of experience!

Sorry that just turned into a winge lol, I just really don't want to go to work today

awwww sweetie it mut be frustaraing i couldnt find a job up north when i came back from working abroad due to my lack of NNEB its was the opporsite for me i had loads of experience but no qualifications you cant win

Keep looking dont give up hun apply for jobs and keep applying one day you'll find the job you will be happy in
For now if you feel you need to keep going and i understand about finacial difficulites then grin and bare it for a little while longer

I wish I knew That's why i did Ecology at Uni ... I really had no idea what I wanted to do and I did well in my Environmental Science A Level, so it was one option that was put forward to me and I took it... I still don't know what I want to do now Boohoo

I would really like to get into ChildCare, I have enquired about doing this but whenever I go to Interviews they always say well we were looking for someone perhaps younger Plus the Training Allowance really isn't enough for me, I know money isnt everything, but £300 a month doesnt even pay half of our rent

For me the only way i managed to get my NVQ3 wasa moving down south i worked while i did the fast track course after work my boss paid some of the funds and the goverment paid the rest due to my expreience i didnt need to do the full 2 year course

they should not say your to old to learn i only got my NVQ 2 years ago at the age of 27
Check at the job center and look for places that will train you in house have you talked to a career adviser?
Mabye though this may be hard as you may have not time free but could you volunteer to help out in a nursery?
It could be a foot in the door and they may be willing to fund you to get your qualification and give you a perment job
Could you help out at a school a lot of parents at the school i used to work in helped out then actually became teaching assistants and took a course in classroom assistant with funding from the goverment

I've never spoken to a career advisor or anyone, maybe that would be a good idea? Where do i go to speak to someone like that?

I would like to go back to University, but my problem is ... it's a bit complecated lol ...

I studied a year and a half of my BSc Ecology, then for certain reasons I left and moved back to Nottingham and transferred in my course to Derby University. However in February this year I decided I really didn't want to be doing that course. So technically I have had to apply for my Student Loan funding twice already, and the University told me they wouldn't fund anymore of my applications because of that.

Therefore obviously I can't go back to University if I can't get a Student Loan

Just feels like i'm being punished for not knowing what i want to do and wanting to change my course
