:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: NO!!!!!

I've alwys liked Malachi. Strictly speaking it would be Mal, but you could get away with Mac.

Ooooo he is Irish and he knew a few Malachi's don't mind that either.

My husbands godfather was Mac, but that was from his surname (McGuffin)

I like the name Mac, but I suppose it just makes me think of his late "papa Mac" as he was lovely.

I think Apple Mac

The name Cormac works for me, can be shortened to Mac then.

I've known a couple of men over the years called Mac, but it was not their first name. They were Macsomething in their surname and people simply shortened it down and it became their nickname.

Mac actually means 'son of' in Scottish and is the surname side of things from what I just read

The boy's name Mac \mac\ is pronounced mak. It is of Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "son of". Scottish and Irish surname prefix used as a given name or nickname. Mack is an ancient Scottish given name. See also Mackenzie, Maxwell, and Mc-.

Mac has 4 variant forms: Mack, Mackey, Mackie and Macklin.

I think Malachi is nice :)

OH's cousin's son is called Mac but it's short for Makani which is Hawaiian. Could be an option if you're after something unusual.

I like Malachi :D

A good friend of mine is called Mac...but I always call him Macaroni!!

His is an abbreviation of his surname.

my cousin is called mac, mac maldwyn (its not short for anything for him) :D
