M&P Sereno chair?

Hi,
We've got a Mamas & Papas Sereno bouncing chair for our little one. He did a monster poo (!)and some leaked onto the chair, but I can't find the instructions for washing.

Anybody know whether the entire cover of the chair can be put in the washing machine or is it a sponge clean only job?

says

"Soft padded covers are removable for handwashing"

I have got a turquoise and yellow M and P capria bouncing chair but I suppose it's the same sort of thing. Mine has got a label inside which says handwash only. I actually washed mine today and I have got a handwash cycle on my washing machine.

This one has a hard seat bit built into the cover if you understand what I mean?! So not really sure it would go in the washing machine.
